KIST Food Services

Foods provided by the institution are hygienically prepared. This is ensured by constant visits to the kitchen by the KIST nurse. Kitchen workers medical checkups and vaccination are current and monitored by administrations. Supply of disinfectants to disinfect cooking areas is provided.
There is a boiler for provision of hot water for dish washing. Use of gas and charcoal are the cooking modes. The kitchen supervisor and the health representative check on the hygiene and report any shortcoming to the Management. The cooking area is well aerated with open windows fitted with canvas, which are dropped on rainy days to avoid flooding in the cooking area.
