Jesus chose mentorship as the method for training His disciples. Every Wednesday at 11:40 a.m. students meet for one hour with faculty members and staff in various mentorship groups. The purpose of each group is to:
- Foster a caring, sharing and accountable relationship between a faculty or staff member (mentor) and a small group of students (protégés).
- Provide a working model for students to follow in their own ministries in which they will be able to mentor other persons through the cell group method.
- Help students integrate the knowledge they learn from class instruction into their own spiritual lives in practical ways.
- Help students reflect on their personal relationship with God with the intent of stimulating their spiritual growth.
All students and faculty members are required to attend and participate in Mentorship Groups.
